Happy Birthday Addie Claire!

On Addie's real birthday, June 9th, Daddy took the day off from work and we made the day a whole day of celebration. That morning when she woke up she had a whole lot of presents to open! She especially loved the baby doll that talks and crawls. Everytime we go down the toy aisle at Target she sees it and points with some sort of loud yell! So, of course, that is what she HAD to have for her birthday....along, with lots of other stuff.

We went to The Wonderplace first. She loved walking around touching everything. She loved the River Market the best because you could pick up and play with all the toy food. And of course, where did that toy food go - to the mouth of course! Thank Goodness for the icky bucket! In all honesty, we know that Addie Claire had a great time - but we had a great time too!

For lunch, we hit Chuck E. Cheese! She loved, loved, loved riding on the electric car things! (Don't know what they are really called) She got mad everytime we tried to take her off! She ate one whole piece of pizza by herself! She loved it!! I thought that she would be scared of the talking characters that sing and dance - but she wrinkled up her nose, pointed and laughed! Sweet baby girl!!!

That night - at around 4:06pm - the actual time she was born (we're not sentimental......I swear! :) ) she had cake and ice cream. At her birthday party she had a lot of pratice, but this time she decided to use a different technique....face first! I hope that one day when you read this you will understand how much your daddy and I love you! You have brought so much joy to our lives. We honestly couldn't image life without you. I find it so hard to believe that you are one year old. I can remember bringing you home from the hospital, filled with such emotion. You are the sweetest, most beautiful little girl I know! I know that you have so much ahead of you in life and that you will make this world a better place! I love you more that you will ever ever ever know!!!! Always believe in yourself and know that your daddy and I are there behind you 100 %!

Happy 1st Birthday Addie Claire

Addie Claire is ONE!!!!

Addison in her specially made tutu and t-shirt from Miss Kristen! She did a great job!!

So, it's official my baby is ONE! I can't believe it! It seems like just yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital. She has grown so much - into a sweet precious little girl!

Saturday was her big birthday party. It was kinda like Christmas in the fact that we planned so long for it, and then it was here and gone within a couple of hours. Need not worry, plans for next years party are underway! (LOL) I think that she had a great time on her big day! She never once had a "breakdown" and really enjoyed opening presents and of course she loved her cake! How could she not love cake though, that's all WE ate, and yes I said WE, meaning mommy and daddy the whole time I was pregnant!

The gift table! I made the banner for Addie Claire. You can't read it all but it says "Happy Birthday Addison" Intentions are that I will use this each year for her birthday and add a new themed candle. Selling these too, already have one order! Of course, this year's was zebra print!

Addie's Last Day

Today is Addie Claire's last day at daycare for the summer! She will be staying with her teacher, who has quit to stay at home with her boys. Ms. Jennifer has been so incredibly sweet to Addie Claire, and loves her to death - (Addie feels the same way) We were so blessed to have such wonderful teachers at daycare for Addie Claire. We owe so much to Mrs. Brandi and Ms. Jennifer for taking care of our sweet angel. I wanted to get pictures with them today but couldn't but here is a picture of the sign they made her. Addie will start going to Ms. Jennifer's house for the next two weeks that I have left of school - yes I still have 8 days - YIKES!

Here are some pictures of Addie before daycare this week (I think Wednesday). Notice the baby doll in her hand. This is a daycare toy that she brings home each night. She is in love with this thing - she carries it everywhere with her. Leave it to my child! LOL

Mother's Day 2009

Here is a picture of my sweet ACP and I on Mother's Day! She is such a sweetie, isn't she? I look at this picture and tears come to my eyes to think about how much she has grown over the past year. One year ago, I was pregnant as pregnant could be, and now just in a short amount of time, I have the most amazing little person in my life! I thank God everyday for the gifts he has given me in my life and this sweet amazing miracle. I had a wonderful first Mother's Day!! Don and ACP bought me the outfit that you see above, plus some free "mommy time!" I sure do love this baby girl....and her daddy, too!

Addie's One Year Pictures!

Addie had her one year portraits made last Saturday! Of course, she was adorable. Don and I have not seen the portraits yet, but our AWESOME photographer (Beth Martin) put some up on her blog!
